Landscaping skills refers to the ability of an individual to modify the visible features of an area of land. This includes adding or subtracting living elements, such as flora or fauna; or what is commonly referred to as gardening, the art and craft of growing plants with a goal of creating a beautiful environment within the landscape. It would also include natural elements such as landforms, terrain shape and elevation, or bodies of water; human elements such as structures, buildings, fences or other material objects created and/or installed by humans; and abstract elements such as the weather and lighting conditions. Landscaping is both science and art, and requires good observation and design skills. A good landscaper understands the elements of nature and construction, and blends them accordingly. Landscaping skills might also include aquascaping, ecoscaping, naturescaping, landscape design, and horticulture. Famous Landscapers, otherwise known as landscape designers or landscape architects, include those who have designed both old and new gardens. These gardens have been created by royals, heads of state, monks and ordinary people. They draw the masses or encourage visitors to strike out on trails where discoveries are made around every bend. Central park offers more than 800 acres of lush green grass, tree-lined paths, woodlands, water features and history. Designed by Frederick L. Olmsted and Calvert Vaux in the mid 1800s. The Gardens at Monticello were designed by Thomas Jefferson, and are a showcase for flowers, shrubs, trees, fruits and landscape design at its best. Frank Lloyd Wright\'s landscape architecture work from 1922-1932 is profiled by the Library Of Congress, the Canadian Centre for Architecture and the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. Hampshire is a county on the southern coast of England in the United Kingdom. The county town of Hampshire is Winchester, a historic cathedral city that was once the capital of England. Hampshire is notable for housing the original birthplaces of the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force. The ceremonial county borders Dorset to the west, Wiltshire to the north-west, Berkshire to the north, Surrey from the north-east, and West Sussex to east. It is partly bounded to the south by the coast of the English Channel and The Solent. Hampshire is the largest county in South East England and the third largest shire county in the United Kingdom. Hampshire\'s tourist attractions include many seaside resorts, the motor museum at Beaulieu, with national parks in both New Forest and the South Downs (covering some 45% of the county). Hampshire has a long maritime history and two of England\'s largest ports, Southampton and Portsmouth, lie on its coast.
